Found this handmade secondhand headband and went goo goo over it.

Holla! Got this jacket & jeans pre-loved. The jacket is definately going to be my autumn grab and go.

Although my hoodie collection is purposely dwindling, there is always exceptions like this James Perse one.

Bring It On Autumn (alice)

Who says fur has to be fancy?

warm. sensible. edgy.

Scarves are a quick inexpensive way to change up your outfit.
Savour The Sunshine (salade)

Wearing a poncho is like wearing a blanket outside of the house.

Work a toque (beanie) into your outfit.

Blazers are one of my favorite fall pieces.
Inexpensive Pieces (kelli)

You can find used oversized sweaters almost anywhere!

Chunky scarves are another inexpensive item you can find used.
Love Your Life? (Lisa)

Smiling always helps brighten up your outfit.

Love the fur.

Collared shirt + Sweater.

Oversized patterned sweater.

Change it up with wearing shorts + skirts with tights.

Good contrast between toque and hair.

Want to stand out in a good way at prom? This colour and style of
dress will make you the cleopatra prom queen.
j'adore

Who doesn't like a bedazzled dress? This
dress says "bring it on," to all the lights and cameras.
Old Hollywood Glamour

Nude tones compliment the elegance of this
dress. I would almost be tempted to double this dress for my wedding.
Vintage Inspired
This prom gown has a lot of details but still looks simple. If your looking for a
dress to wear that doesn't wear you, this is the dress.

High Wasted Jean Shorts

After seeing shorts like these, I don't think I can purchase another pair of shorts that are not high wasted. Classy, comfortable, and inexpensive. I found old school Levi jeans that I cut to make into the perfect shorts.
Headbands

Head scarves or headbands are a godsend for summer days on the beach when blow drying, straightening and curling is completely impractical. I bought a second hand head scarf that does the job and saves my hair from a lot of heat abuse.
Rompers

Half the fun of summer is being active. Rompers are that safe outfit that allows you to run and play.
Maxi Skirts

Love the look of maxi skirts.

High wasted shorts have a class and confidence about them.

Life doesn't get more comfortable than this. Walking down the street with a long warm jacket, and a pair of uggs.
Here are some things to watch out for when shopping.

This is an example of fake ugg boots compared to genuine. Fake ugg boots are marketed as 'sheepskin lined,' but really it is just synthetic. The synthetic material just leads to moisture and bacteria build up. ick.
(pic from here)
Let's talk about branding.
Any ugg boot that is made with sheepskin and with the certain style, is an ugg boot. I described it like this the other day, "uggs" are like "shirts," just some companies have taken the name and used it as their brand. Many companies have labeled ugg boots and added a brand to it ( like UGG Austrailia ), but all it is a brand.
(pic from here)
I've found a genuine ugg boots company that has a contest to give you a chance to win a free pair of ugg boots every month if you sign up for their newsletter. Oh, I love free stuff.
Whooga is owned and operated in New Zealand and Australia, and assembled in China. Yes, New Zealand. The country that taxes sheep farmers on methane gas emissions (sheep farts) because of all the sheep running around!

New York New York

Dress for me
I was inspired by this
blog when I came across her picture and saying that followed.

"I dress for myself. Not for the image, not for the public, not for fashion, and definitely not for men."
I wish I could look as graceful when being startled by birds. Photographer is
Waldemar Hansson.

Another one is W.Hansson's pictures. I'm a suck for the prints in this picture. The wallpaper and the chair. My house would be plastered with these kinds of patterns if I knew my husband would be okay working all day in a room full of flowered wallpaper. But perhaps we will start one wall at a time and see where it goes. The background patterns make her shirt stand out nicely.

I'll leave this segment with the perfect jacket for winter.
